Conley Group was selected by FSB Architects and American Airlines to perform a roof evaluation on the American Airlines Super Hanger at the Kansas City International Airport.
Conley Group conducted an evaluation of the American Airlines Super Hanger atKansas City (MCI) International Airport to develop a remedial program for roof repairs/replacement at the critical hub service facility. The facility roof areas totaled over 570,000 square feet between the support shops and two super hangar roof areas. The existing foam roofs were assessed for future service life. Conley Group developed a remedial plan and cost forecast for replacement on the shops and repair on the hangars totaling over $3.5 million.
Additionally, Conley presented numerous recommendations to improve future roof system performance should any remedial action be undertaken.
