Conley Group was retained by American Airlines to provide asset management, condition assessment, design development, construction documents, and construction administration for the American Airlines Tulsa Warehouse located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Conley Group was selected by American Airlines Corporate Real Estate to provide development of the roof system design and associated structural and MEP engineering and waterproofing construction documentation preparation, bidding, construction management and project representation during construction for the roof system design and waterproofing for this warehouse located at the TULAmerican Airlines Complex at 4100 Mingo Road, Tulsa International Airport, Tulsa,Oklahoma. This project consisted of approximately 145,962 square feet of roof area.
Phase I - Site Inspection and Existing Conditions Assessment, Design Development and Construction Documentation, and Bid Support Services; Phase II - ConstructionAdministration; and Phase III - On-Site Representation. The Project’s re-roofing and waterproofing construction contract time frame was anticipated to take 20.5months from Contract Execution to the physical completion of the re-roofing and waterproofing work.
Conducting a roof replacement over a 24/7 fully operational aircraft maintenance facility including AA staff and robotic distribution areas required extreme sensitivity to material and equipment contamination. Conley Group’s strategic phasing, scheduling, and safety considerations/interior protection resulted in the successful delivery of this roof replacement project on-time and within budget.
